About Washington Township, Hendricks County

Washington Township provides essential services including township assistance, parks and recreation, education, community engagement, prevention, emergency response and preparedness, programming, and cemetery care. We were founded December 29, 1823. As of the 2010 Census, we had a population of 44,764, or about 31 percent of the total population in Hendricks County.
